University of Southern California-Programs Biomedical & Biological Sciences is a leader in biological and biomedical research and pleased to offer graduate Programs in Biomedical and Biological Sciences (PIBBS). Washington University in St. Louis was organized in 1973. Medical

A.T. Still University is the home of the world’s first osteopathic medical school, Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, established in 1892. A renowned, multidisciplinary healthcare educator, ATSU instills in students the knowledge, integrity, compassion, and hands-on experience needed to address the needs of the whole person. The most recent addition to the University is the School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona. American University of Antigua – Their program is designed to make sure that students meet the necessary requirements of medical and nursing licensure in the United States. Arizona School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine is the oldest school of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Arizona. We prepare competent practitioners of acupuncture and Oriental medicine, men and women of high character and good will, who, by virtue of their work and presence, will lead our profession to be valued, accepted and trusted as efficacious health care. Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions (RMUoHP) offers doctoral degrees for healthcare professionals, including athletic trainers, advanced practical nurses, occupational therapists, and physical therapists. RMUoHP’s non-traditional model enables students to complete advanced degrees without relocating. Curricula emphasize specialized education in advanced clinical, research, and academic areas. RMUoHP will be starting its first entry-level Doctor of Physical Therapy class in May of 2010. These award winning programs are tailored for individuals with bachelor degrees in the sciences such as chemistry, biology and biochemistry.  Each course includes several modules that contain images, animations and case studies.  The Forensic Science Masters Degree program is the largest graduate forensics program worldwide.

University of Medicince & Health Sciences, St. Kitts have developed a traditional medical school curriculum utilizing problem-based learning, with an emphasis on clinical correlations. A thorough knowledge of the basic biomedical sciences is emphasized and students are introduced to history taking, physical exam skills and problem solving techniques. Upon completion of the Basic Science Program, students return to the United States for the Clinical Program during semesters five through ten. Students complete their fifth semester studies at our facilities in Portland, Maine. The fifth semester includes an Introduction to Clinical Medicine II and Biological Basis of Clinical Medicine. An extensive USMLE review is also offered in the fifth semester to ensure a high pass rate on USMLE Step I.

Philosophy & Theology

The Dominican School of Philosophy & Theology (DSPT) is a member of the Graduate Theological Union (GTU) in Berkeley, CA -- an interfaith consortium of nine theological schools and eleven affiliated institutes.  The DSPT is one of the only graduate schools in the country offering integrated academic and ministerial programs in both philosophy and theology.  DSPT students may take classes and use the libraries at UC Berkeley as well as throughout the GTU itself.  We have welcomed a number of UA graduates over the years and would love to welcome you!

UA Programs

At the University of Arizona’s Eller College MBA program, students who are looking for a new career path or to further develop their business skills can customize an MBA experience with the help of faculty mentors and executive career coaches. A required global perspectives trip, rigorous academic experience, and targeted experiential learning enhance personal leadership development and analytical capacity and provide a deep knowledge of today’s competitive marketplace.

The Strategic Alternative Learning Techniques (SALT) Center promotes the achievement of individuals with learning and attention challenges. There are approximately 560 students in the program and 100 tutors.  SALT tutors are juniors, seniors, or graduate students with a minimum cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0. They are currently enrolled at the University, and have been recommended by University faculty members or other individuals who attest to their content knowledge and skills/character. A few tutors, already graduated at Bachelor, Masters, or Ph.D. levels, are hired outside of the University population.

The Think Tank at the Student Learning Center is located in the Nugent Building on the UA Campus.  The Think Tank is an academic support resource unit at UA.  The Think Tank employs student tutors, mentors, Supplemental Instruction leaders and front desk staff.

The University of Arizona College of Optical Sciences offers one of the world's foremost teaching and research programs in optics.  The College’s 400 students select from over 100 graduate and undergraduate optics courses and have the opportunity to participate in pioneering research programs.  The College of Optical Sciences also offers distance learning opportunities for companies and individuals, including programs leading to a Master's of Science or a Professional Graduate Certificate in Optical Sciences.

The University of Arizona's School of Information Resources & Library Science (SIRLS) offers master and doctoral programs in Information Resources and Library Science, a fully online graduate certificate in Digital Information Management, and the Knowledge River Scholarship Program.  Students can take courses face to face or online in the master's program; most students take about 18 months to complete this program.
