If you're aiming for the End Zone, you won't want to miss this year's Career Services' Kick-Off. Besides the door prizes and the pizza and the general relaxed atmosphere, this event scores big when it comes to career prep. Scheduled for Wednesday, September 16, 11am to 2pm, we'll be doing resume checks, helping you with your one-minute commercial, handing out lists of participating employers and signing up students for Campus Interviewing. And that's not all...

Brand new this year is our Mini-Fair featuring government employers that will run in conjunction with the Kick-Off. By now you've heard all about the Baby Boomers retiring and opening up some great career positions in the federal government for college grads. This is your chance to talk to some government recruiters directly.

We'll give away a few stylish red UA caps to some students (get here early!) doing their One-Minute Commercial at the Mock Interview tables, have drawings for free campus interviewing activations (valued at $25 each) and maybe even throw in some free pizzas (priceless). Everyone who attends this kick-off wins! How's that, you ask? What makes everyone who attends a guaranteed winner? We're packing in value with every play.

Students who attend this event can:

• Sign up for campus interviewing immediately , which means no missed deadlines.
• Be the first to access a Sneak Preview of companies and their profiles attending the September 22nd and 23rd  UA Fall Career Days .
• Talk to government agencies about opportunities with the federal government.
• Learn how to prepare for UA's upcoming (and biggest) career fair with information on how to dress , how to present yourself and how to network.
• Participate in Mock Career Fair Booths to practice introducing yourself to real employers.
• Get your resume expertly critiqued by Career Services professionals and employers.
• Indulge in free pizza and soda (while supplies last).
