Resume Release/Resume Referral
Wildcat JobLink allows users to post resumes to their personal profile. By uploading a resume to Wildcat JobLink, users stipulate that they allow the release of their resume per employer and/or academic department request or at the initiative of the Career Services office for permissible purposes. Wildcat JobLink will use the "default resume" for referral purposes. Users are encouraged to keep this default resume current.
Partnerships with Outside Entities
In its provision of services rendered, Career Services utilizes the efforts of non-University partners. Certain of those partners provide for the collection and distribution of your information, including, but not limited to resumes. Such activities are outside the control of the University and the University has no direct control over the protection of your confidential information by those partners.
Participating Employers
Career Services will attempt to link UA students with prospective employers based on a match between market requests and student profiles. However, such activity does not reflect any specific knowledge or endorsement of prospective employers, their practices or their sites. Job applicants should review all job listing information carefully. Career Services does not screen or accept responsibility for employer listings. It is the responsibility of the job seeker to determine the accuracy of the posted job(s).
Email
Registered users of the Career Services website may choose to not receive general email messages containing timely information regarding upcoming events and career opportunities. Users are encouraged to keep their profile with Career Services current. Please note, however, that users who choose to make use of certain features of Wildcat JobLink (i.e. the Job Search Agent or Campus Interviewing) will receive information via Email regardless of their Career Services website Email preferences.
Alumni Information
Career Services has partnered with The University of Arizona Alumni Association to co-host certain portions of the Wildcat JobLink system.
Assumption of Risk and Release of Claims
I, the reader of this document, fully realize that there may be inherent risks of release of information to unintended third parties by non UA entities and professional and premises risks in whatever employment setting I may be placed. I understand that neither of the above are under the direct or indirect control of the University of Arizona. I hereby assume that risk and, on behalf of myself and my family members, heirs and personal representatives, release and hold harmless the University of Arizona, Arizona Board of Regents and the State of Arizona from any claims arising out of my registration and/or job placement through Career Services.
