Studio Art - Photograpy

A Studio Art major in the Photography concentration provides students with training in art history, traditional black and white darkroom techniques, digital and other image-forming technologies, color processes, large-scale photography, and video skills. Graduates may seek work as freelance photographers or staff photographers with newspapers, event planning companies, or advertising agencies, or they may promote photography appreciation through teaching or museum work. 

Studio Art, like many majors, teaches content and skills that can be applied to a wide variety of career fields. This major does not restrict you to a specific field.
