The knowledge gained from a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics in the Mathematics Education concentration of number theory, algebra, geometry, probability theory, math history, math teaching methods, adolescent learning and development, and curriculum and assessment, as well as the BS intensive science requirement, provides a strong career foundation. BS graduates in Math Education are prepared to work as teachers, administrators, education researchers, and curriculum developers.
