COOP-100

COOP-100 Career-Related Experience is a mechanism which may help you to maintain your full-time student status while you are away from campus for internship or any career-related experience. There is a $100 fee.

To qualify for COOP 100, you must have at least a 2.5 GPA, have full-time student status, and be in good academic standing. You must arrange COOP-100 registration prior to leaving for your work phase. If you have questions, please call Career Services 520-621-4517 .

Please Read the following carefully BEFORE You Register for COOP-100 Career-Related Experience!

COOP-100 is NOT FOR CREDIT!!! Although the class schedule lists it as 1-unit, there is no credit awarded.

If the internship or other career-related experience requires that you receive credit,
       COOP-100 will NOT meet any credit requirements. Career Services cannot grant credit.

If you are seeking to earn credit for your internship or other career-related experience, it MUST be arranged through your academic department or college. Meet with your academic advisor to learn what your options are.

COOP-100 is ONLY intended for students who will be away from campus, not taking any courses, to participate in a career-related experience.

DO NOT sign up for COOP-100 for the purpose of adding a credit to your schedule.
11 credits + COOP-100 = 11 credits.

COOP-100 may not satisfy continuing enrollment status requirements for purposes such as financial aid, scholarships, grants, and insurance coverage. You MUST check individually with each organization to be certain
      if COOP-100 satisfies any specific requirements.
