Career Services offers these information-packed, 50-minute career seminars FREE to UA students and alumni. ALL seminars are held in the Career Services Workshop Room in the Student Union Memorial Center, Suite 411.  The seminar schedule is subject to change. Please check the  Career Services Calendar for the most up-to-date seminar schedule.

Workshops Mock Interview

Mock Interview Events are offered to help you practice your interviewing skills. Half hour practice interviews are conducted by employers and professional staff to allow students an opportunity to try out their interviewing skills and receive constructive feedback on how they might improve. Prior sign-up is required. You may sign up in person by giving a copy of your resume to the Career Services receptionist in SUMC411 beginning Friday, January 13, 2012 for the Friday, February 3, 2012 Spring Mock Interview Event.

Please note that in addition to the Mock Interview Event, Mock interview appointments are also available all year round by scheduling an individual career counseling appointment (call 520.621.2588).

Workshops Out On The Job Speaker Series

OUT on the Job is a monthly series that brings 'out' professionals from campus and the community for lunch hour brown bag discussions. Speakers will talk about their career path and engage students in dialogue about the challenges and benefits of being out on the job. This series is designed to offer a starting point in considering issues faced by Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Questioning (LGBTQ) people in the workplace.
